We are excited to welcome a very special guest to Academy Restaurant on Thursday 19th March. Join us for a Culinary Salon with Valentine Warner, acclaimed chef, food writer and broadcaster. This will be an evening celebrating food, conversation and creativity. Expect inspiring flavours, stories from the kitchen, and a truly memorable dining experience.
Originally training as an artist he went on to a career in London restaurants before finding himself on television where his deep love of cooking, nature and travel has seen him make seven series for various channels at home and abroad.
He has written five books, three of which he has illustrated, and contributes to various publications.
Val is co founder of Kitchen In The Wild, a food and craft travel business putting on culinary events in remote locations.
He is a founding partner in the Hepple Spirits distillery, Northumberland.
Working for JWB Whelan Butchers means a lot of his time spent is now spent in Ireland.
