Preparing Future Hospitality

The Academy is where the future of hospitality begins. Enjoy exceptional food, local ingredients, and genuine hospitality in a unique Belfast dining destination. Every visit helps shape the next generation of hospitality professionals through hands on  experience.

  • Exceptional food crafted with local ingredients
  • Student talent guided by industry professionals
  • Industry-leading learning in a live restaurant environment
  • Warm, attentive service with purpose
  • Supporting the future of Northern Ireland's hospitality industry

Beneath every service is something more meaningful: a live, working environment where the next generation of chefs, hosts, and hospitality leaders are learning their craft in real time.

Here, food is not simply served.
It is studied, refined, tested, and brought to life.
The Academy is shaped by the ambition of people who are already learning to deliver with standard of care, precision, and pride.

That is what makes the experience different.

Where the story behind the plate is just as important as the dish itself.

    Our Values

    The Academy Values

Our values shape every Academy Restaurant experience, where exceptional dining supports local producers and the development of Northern Ireland’s hospitality talent.

    ROOTED IN NORTHERN IRELAND

Local Ingredients. Local Stories. Future Talent.

The Academy Restaurant is deeply rooted in Northern Ireland. In its produce, its people, its drinks culture and its hospitality community.

Our food and drink experiences celebrate local ingredients, suppliers and producers, giving students the opportunity to understand provenance, seasonality, responsible sourcing and the value of working closely with the region’s food and drink industry.

From field and farm to kitchen, bar and table, every experience is part of a wider story: one that supports local producers, develops future professionals and contributes to Northern Ireland’s growing reputation as a food and drink destination.

Featured by Food NI for its commitment to education, provenance and sustainability, the Academy Restaurant helps students build professional pride while contributing to Northern Ireland’s continued development as a global food and drink destination.
