An evening for industry professionals from the food, drink and hospitality sector to emerge in local food and drink with a chance to learn and listen to discussions from a panel of industry experts and Jack McGarry, the co-founder of New York’s world-famous The Dead Rabbit, as he returns to Belfast for a special collaboration between Ulster University, The Dead Rabbit, and Academy Restaurant.
This industry networking event will bring together students and leading hospitality professionals for a unique collaboration led by award-winning Belfast-born hospitality entrepreneur Jack McGarry to gain first-hand insight into innovation, storytelling, guest experience and building a globally recognised brand.

The industry experience gained by Ulster University students at the Academy Restaurant have contributed to Ulster University’s ranking as 2nd in the UK for Hospitality, Event Management and Tourism (Guardian University Guide 2026.)
